Kingdom In The Mission This is the time for us to acknowledge the reality of the will of God for the world. This is the heart of the mission. That Jesus was sent to and for the world. No only for Christian or the church. The fact is sometimes we think that God, Jesus, Holy Spirit or The Bible are only exclusively for the church or for Christian religion. That is not what The Bible teaches us about. The Father, Jesus, The Holy Spirit and The Bible are supposed to be for the world. But time and time again we are facing the problem of people wanting to believe Jesus Christ but reject the church or Christian religion altogether because of the basis, focus, and the objectives of our mission are wrong.
The first thing we need to know is that the kingdom of God is an inclusive kingdom. If you base your mission on spreading a religion then the problem will come because in this world there are filled with many different kinds of religions. The kingdom of God is not an alternative way of life but is THE ONLY WAY of life that God wants all the world to embrace. I don't believe in Christianitation (try to make everyone to embrace Christian religion) i rather believe that we need to embrace the life style of the kingdom and because the kingdom of God has become the message of our lives then we share this life style with others around through relationship with Jesus Christ and the work of the Holy Spirit.
Another problem is the focus of our mission is the church and not Jesus thats why we try to bring people to the church and do not really care about their relationship with Jesus. That's why we spend a lot effort and money to build buildings and create ministries to contain members and numbers and do not really obey the great commission that Jesus wants us to obey; to disciple all men.
The calling is this; let us put God out of the boxes of our religion, church organizations and let God be God. As for us; we will come back to the obedience of His will and present Jesus back to the world that He loves so much without wrapping Him in our Christian religion or our church organizations.
As we salt and light the world with the message of the kingdom through our lives and the working of the Holy Spirit we will be united to see and experience the vision of the kingdom: That the glory of God will cover the earth like water covers the sea.
